All of our classrooms feature state-of-the-art SMART Boards designed to optimize learning and bring our integrative curriculum to life. With an extra-wide format for additional workspace and collaborative software to create meaningful lesson plans that enhance the classroom experience, students benefit from the best in innovative classroom technology.
For the safety of our students and staff, our full-time nursing department is located on the main campus, providing peace of mind for our families and compassionate care for our students, who often face complex co-morbid conditions requiring specific medical accommodations to ensure a successful school experience.

Administrative Offices
Our administrative offices are located in the building next to our main campus and include two spacious IEP conference rooms, Beacon’s admissions, accounting, and marketing departments, and our executive team offices.
Campus Security
The safety of our students, staff, and entire school community is a priority at Beacon Day School. In order to ensure we are doing all we can to keep everyone safe, Beacon is committed to ongoing evaluations and enhancements of our school safety protocols.
Recent additions to campus safety include:

24-hour outdoor security cameras located around the perimeter of our main campus and administrative offices.

Indoor security cameras located throughout main traffic areas inside our campus. Due to the privacy rights of our students, these cameras are only on during after-school hours, once all students have cleared our campus for the day.

Both outdoor and indoor security cameras are monitored in real-time by a leading security firm. Beacon executive staff has remote access to real-time camera footage as well.

Our Campus
Beacon Day School is located in Orange County, California, in the city of La Palma.
Our main campus is 21,051 square feet, and includes nine classrooms; two elementary, three middle school, two high school, and two transition rooms. Our recent campus expansion includes a dedicated elementary school and features a brand new indoor play area, OT and PT facility, full kitchen, and lunchroom.
Additionally, our middle school through transition students also have their own dedicated OT/PT facility, full kitchen and dining section, as well as an outdoor break area. Speech therapy services are located in the front of our campus and provide a spacious therapeutic setting where our students can access their sessions comfortably and free of distractions.
