Barkin' Beacon Biscuits
Barkin Beacon Biscuits is a small business started for the adults and adolescents of the Beacon Day School Bridges Transition Program. Beacon Day School is dedicated to providing educational and therapeutic services to students with Autism Spectrum and related disorders. The students in the transition program bake, package, sell, inventory, and create the entire product. Not any one of our students can do every aspect of this job by themselves, but together as a team they CAN and DO create this entire product. This company was started to give these students the opportunity to learn new, much needed work skills in a supportive accepting environment.
Beacon Biscuits can be bought in the Lobby of Beacon Day School
right now, but we will be expanding very soon!!!!! All proceeds go
back to making the product and for new technologies and supplies
for the students:)
